WHAT DO WE NEED AT THE VENUE?
We are very low maintenance(!) and have all our own equipment, including chairs. However we do require a space of at least 2sqm to set up comfortably.
DO WE PLAY OUT DOORS?
We are very happy to play outdoors providing there is good shelter to protect ourselves and our instruments from rain or direct sun. This could be under the full shade of a large tree, umbrella or on a covered terrace or verandah, depending on the angle of the sun. Shelter from strong wind is also desirable.
DO WE NEED AMPLIFICATION?
No, we don’t need amplification. However, we do have all of our own sound equipment including PA and microphones, and can tailor the use of this according to the needs of each individual client and event. In this instance we would need access to a power point.
HOW DOES CONFETTI DRESS?
We pride ourselves on immaculate and appropriate presentation (with fabulous shoes!). Confetti has a range of co-ordinating outfits to suit all types of events, from formal evening black to a summer garden party, and even Art Deco costume.
CAN WE PLAY A PIECE NOT ON OUR REPERTOIRE LIST?
We will endeavour to find your particular request, but if it requires the purchase of new music or a special arrangement this will incur an extra fee of $150 per piece. We require 60-days notice for new music requests, as the arranging and rehearsing of new music takes considerable time.
DO WE CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
Not within the Hastings or Napier area. However, if we are required to travel further afield we would need our travel costs covered.
DO WE REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Yes. To secure your booking we ask for a non-refundable deposit to be paid into our account. An invoice for the total amount of the booking will be sent out to you and the deposit is due on receipt, with the balance payable a week before your function date.
Your deposit is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
