Emily hails from England and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, while Dana and Paula grew up in Hawke’s Bay and both studied at Victoria University, Wellington.
We all have Honours Degrees in our instruments and have travelled and worked professionally in such orchestras as the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, the New Zealand Chamber Orchestra and Wellington Sinfonia (now Orchestra Wellington).

We regularly present our own chamber concerts and are all actively involved in the local music scene as solo guest artists and instrumental teachers, as well as playing with groups such as the Hawke’s Bay Orchestra, Concord String Ensemble and Napier Operatic Society.

Feedback from concert at St Helier’s Music Centre, Auckland, Sunday 10th April 2016

“Your concert was so good on Sunday.

My wife Margaret, who has little appreciation of true classical music, found it one of the best concerts she has been to.

The variety of music was frankly spectacular and every time I walk through bush in the evenings , I will fondly recall the sound of that “whistle and bird call.” It was so effective.

We would be delighted to have you come again to St Heliers and would make a bigger effort to “tell the world” not to miss your truly wonderful music.  You are all a “class act”!  Regards, GM”

From the concert in Cornwall Park, Hastings, February 28th 2016

“Confetti your diversity of musical genres and sense of fun throughout the whole concert was so exciting!  We loved it so much as did the whole huge audience.  First standing ovation in 11 years is something you girls should be very proud of.  Please come back again next year!”  JW
